Edward J. Bilbrew was born in the city of Brooklyn, New York on February 20, 1968. He is one out of six siblings, and was raised in a single-parent household. Being the second youngest of his siblings, his mother enforced education, thus resulting in his being enrolled into Philipa Duke Schuyler Middle-Aged School for the Gifted and Talented.
His collegiate career began at SUNY Dutchess Community College where he earned an associates degree in applied science in the field of Business-Office Technologies in May of 1993.
After his graduation from community college he began working as a legal office assistant and shareholder services representative until his enrollment in Long Island University’s ABA-Approved Paralegal Studies Program where he earned his certification as a legal professional in August of 2000. Subsequently, he enrolled into CUNY John Jay University and obtained a BA in criminal justice in June of 2004.
While pursuing his BA he has worked as a legal professional for notable firms such as CIFG Financial Services; XL Capital Assurance; Law Office of Doron Zanani; Credit Suisse First Boston; Morvillo, Abramowitz, Grand, Iason & Silberg, PC; Nixon Peabody; and Banco Popular.
To date, Edward J. Bilbrew is the Founder of his own legal services company and enjoys his passion and strong commitment to providing adequate, competent legal services to laypersons of law at affordable prices, helping everyone from people looking for an affordable divorce to pro se litigants defending themselves in court. With strong community roots Edward J. Bilbrew is and will continue to be a champion of legal advocacy for the people!
